About me

Rad Patterns is the result of one little girl’s dreams to make pretty clothes and her grown up self’s goal to make the world a brighter place.

Ever since our designer, Steph, was small she knew she wanted to create clothes. She learned to sew at a young age and never looked back. While earning her bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, she fell in love with pattern making – so much so that she has spent many years as a professional pattern maker and technical developer for various apparel brands.

Steph’s biggest goal is to make people feel amazing about themselves, no matter their size. She believes that everyone has something uniquely amazing to offer the world, and for her, she hopes that is inspiring others to love themselves. Because of this belief, all of Rad Patterns adult patterns come in sizes XXS-4X and more recently we’ve added up to size 6X. They are specifically drafted to address the body differences of smaller sizes, larger sizes, and everything in between. Most of our children’s patterns also include plus sizing.
