The Panel Undies Pattern is a versatile sewing pattern to give you the most comfortable underwear with a built in way to add fun color blocking! They are virtually wedgie-proof, and come with several silhouette and edging options to give you exactly the fit and feel you want.
This pattern includes options for hipster, mid-rise brief, and high-rise brief. With detailed instructions for edging them using lingerie elastic, FOE, binding, or bands as well as instructions for optional ruching along the booty for an extra feminine touch.

The Panel Undies are great for all levels of sewing. This pattern is made to use knit fabrics with at least 50% stretch in both directions. Cotton Lycra is the recommended fabric.

I love my “panel undies”. I sew all of my underwear. I initially bought a competitor’s underwear pattern, and made many alterations to it. Unfortunately I sized out of their range. Then I stumbled upon these. They went up to my size and had a panel that I could use up smaller scraps with. Great. I would like to say that they fit without any alterations, but I did have to make one: I have to turn them around. The junk in my trunk is non-existent and my belly is big. But I have to do that with everything.
The instructions are clear.
The pattern fits to size.
I love them.
