The Choose Your Own Skater Dress (or CYOS Dress for short!) is a versatile sewing pattern to give you a ton of stylish wardrobe options. This pattern is destined to become a wardrobe staple! This pattern has a slim/fitted fit through the bodice, which is fully lined, and a circle skirt.
Featuring 5 sleeve lengths (cap, short, elbow, 3/4, and long) as well as a sleeveless option, 5 length options (tee, tunic, mini, knee, and maxi), and several front and back neckline variation, this pattern is exactly what you need to build up your wardrobe.
This pattern does not include a pregnancy specific version, but one of our lovely testers tried it out as-is and it fit well up until her due date!

I bought this when it first came out and it is my go-to pattern for a knit skater dress (my favourite style).
The instructions are great.
I have docked a star only because the basic block isn’t the best for my body shape. That isn’t the fault of the designer, it just doesn’t fit me personally as well as I’d like out of the box.
I have large upper arms and have to make a large bicep adjustment (that’s normal). I also have narrow shoulders and have to make a narrow shoulder adjustment. What is not normal is that I have to narrow the shoulders of this pattern a lot more than any other. Hence the 4 stars.
The rest of the fit is perfect. I’d recommend it for anyone wanting to make a skater dress.
